Days 34 and 35

Day 34: Leaving work and ascending from Hell

Let me say first that I am sad to be leaving Paul Tse and Co. That was one of the best experiences of my life. However, what will not be missed is my awful apartment. Below are some pictures for your enjoyment.

Day 35: Macau, part Chinese, part Portuguese, all awesome.

Today, so I was no longer an illegal immigrant, we went to Macau. This used to be a Portuguese territory here in China, now it is the Las Vegas of China, there are many Casinos. And man oh man was it pretty. I will let the picture, and my captions, do the talking.

*the picture occur in no particular order
That is the first door to enter into my apartment. There are more. Many more.

The stairs to get to the elevator. Yes, I know what I said. No there is no elevator to get to the elevator. Shrugging a 50 lbs suitcase up those suckers was not fun…at all.
A nice little hallway. FYI the girl lives in apartment E.
Door number 3. The entrance to Narnia.
Kitchen/potty area. Yes it is very nice, save the broken appliances...and the mildew.

The most impressive casino I have seen. Seriously, it was awesome!

 Las Vegas?
The inside of the elevator. Large enough to fit me a suitcase and the stench of dried fish.
The exterior door of the elevator. This was always a fun experience wondering if it will open.
Door number 2. I called it the Black Gate.

Two 180 pictures of the bathroom and one regular one. So green. So mildewy.

This is a covered well in a library.

Statute in the awesome Casino. It needed a hug.
Gorgeous church. There were times I thought I was in Europe. This is one of them.
That’s a Lotus Scott wants it.
 Maobama? Hitler McDonald. I just don’t even…what?
Another set of 180 degrees of my room. This room was wonderfully purple. It was also horrendously hot since the AC never worked.
 A beautiful theater.
Where am I. Europe? Asia?

The ruins of a church. Saint Paul’s church to be precise. It was awesome.

Look at the people. Look at them. So. Many. People.

Not pretty but that snail is huge. That is a smaller snail btw.

So, we made it home safely after a dinner at the Western Papa restaurant where she got chicken, mushrooms, and penne pasta in a white curry sauce (delicious) and I got spaghetti with crab meat in a pumpkin cream sauce. We made it home and slept...or wrote a blog...I suppose.

With that good night all!
