Alrighty friends and readers here is part of my mysterious weekend plans. Tonight, I ate ramen, we'll discuss that later, and went to the Hong Kong Victoria Bay Light Symphony. First, for the ramen. Mind you this is my first time eating legitimate ramen, and no all you law students and college undergrads Top Ramen is not in fact ramen its wax flavored like broth. I got a soyu ramen, ramen with a soy sauce type broth, and golly bob howdy was it delicious. Dear intrepid restauranteurs in Utah, bring in some decent ramen. No, I mean seriously I want some ramen. I know Mexican food is king in the state, and for good reason, but a little ramen for me? I would personally keep your business afloat I can promise you that! Seriously though guys if you get the chance get real ramen. It's amazing!
Now for the light show! It was a really cool experience with lasers and lights and just all around awesomeness. I wasn't able to get a good pic or video of the show itself, but below are some shots of the skyline from the Kowloon side of the bay.
This is just a cool shot and I liked it
Same with this one
PANORAMALAMADINDONG!
When I left the office my hair was just fine. That single strand dropped because of one reason! I bet you can guess what that was.
Okay I lied. I got one okay shot of the show.
So cool. This makes me very excited to visit! Um, minus the humidity.

ReplyDeleteI love that laser light show! It was pretty amazing! I hope you can go on a clearer night as well and see it even better! Also go you for hiking up to Victoria Peak, that is a beast of a hike, thus I took the tram :) The view from the top is fantastic!
ReplyDeleteThat hike was almost as bad as the Y so far as the incline goes, worse because of the darn humidity.
